MR. KAYODE AKIN-AJAYI
Mr. Akin-Ajayi, a Banker, Academic and Professional Manager, is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Profund Securities Limited. He obtained a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1977 and 1979 respectively. He also recently bagged another Masters Degree in Corporate Governance and Finance from Liverpool John Moore University U.K. He was a lecturer in the College of Business and Administrative Studies, Kaduna Polytechnic after which he worked in Texaco Nigeria Limited and Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc. He has spent 17 years in banking 13 out of which he held management positions in Treasury, Credits/Risk Management and Administration, Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, Research and Planning, Internal Control/Audit and fund Management. Under his leadership, Profund Securities Limited has grown to occupy a leadership position in Funds Management and Investments. He has attended various courses both within and outside Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the London Institute of Management Education and Member of the Nigerian Marketing Association and the Nigerian Institute of Director. He is a facilitator of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He has won several awards which include the Distinguished Corporate Achievers Gold Awards, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah African Leadership Award, Top 100 Nigerian Professionals, and Achievers' Platinum Awards for Global Excellence.Mr. Akin-Ajayi has attended many training programmes locally and internationally, among which are New York Institute of Finance, Euromoney London Management Centre, London Institute of Education. Chief Umolu is a 1977 graduate of economics from University of Ife, Ile-Ife. He obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration from the same university in 1979.
He started his banking career in 1980 as a Banking Officer with ICON Limited (Merchant Bankers) and rose to the post of Senior Manager and Head- Money Market and Treasury Division in 1980 before leaving for Comet Merchant Bank Limited to become the Managing Director. He has since retired into private sector enterprise.
MR. ANTHONY ADEIZA ADABA
Mr. Anthony Adeiza Adaba retired as Executive Director Operations, Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM) and is currently a Financial Consultant. Mr. Adaba obtained his B.Sc. degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University in 1976 and in 1979, he passed the authorised Dealership Examination of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
His other academic qualifications include the following; The Management Development Program, Boston University School of Management, Fall 1984; The Hubert H. Humphery Fellowship Program-Specialising in Management. Boston University School of Management May, 1985 and University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphery Institute of Public Affairs June, 1985.
Mr. Adaba's career in both the private and public sectors of the economy spans over a period of seventeen years.
ALHAJI HADI MAHMOUD IMAM
Alhaji Hadi Mahmoud Imam is an accomplished banker within the Nigerian Banking industry with more than 18 years cognate experience in banking. He started his career with Union Bank of Nig. Plc and later joined Savannah Bank of Nig. Plc.
During his eighteen years exposure in the industry, Hadi covered all areas of money market, International trade financing and the capital market. He capped his unblemished career with the position of Principal Manager before resigning and setting up his own company. Alhaji Hadi Imam is sitting on the Board of several companies and organisations.
